We believe our unique solution is game-changing, and we assist Muse Health’s provider partners to continue to be the forefront of optimal service to its Medicare Advantage beneficiaries in historically underrepresented communities.

Health Inequities

The data is clear – underrepresented communities experience higher rates of chronic diseases. These health disparities are influenced by factors detailed very specifically in our clients DE&I report. Addressing the multifaceted challenges involving health inequities to provide adequate care for Medicare Advantage beneficiaries requires a multifaceted approach. The Muse Health process begins with engagement utilizing a peer-to-peer network where members of historically underrepresented communities engage with peer listeners in and of their community. These peers share socioeconomic status and have experienced the same challenges relative to access to healthcare, language barriers, and historical systemic discrimination. Muse Health’s peer-to-peer listeners assist our clients to address disparities by developing culturally concordant targeted interventions and strategies that ensure equitable engagement and communication surrounding access to quality care.

Increasing Network Coverage

Muse Health’s provider partner’s plans will operate with a network of healthcare providers with expanded representation in underrepresented communities, addressing access to healthcare services. These diverse provider options will have a significant and undoubtedly positive impact on the ability of Medicare Advantage beneficiaries from historically underrepresented communities to receive care that is culturally sensitive and appropriate for their needs.
