About the Role
Muse Health is looking for a Population Health Strategy Intern to assist in developing programs and analytics that target health disparities in BIPOC and underserved communities. We will work with you to make your curriculum current and applicable. This position will focus on designing and evaluating scalable interventions across our partner ecosystems. Your educational process will be enhanced in critical areas like population health management, health data analytics, public health policy, and more.
Learning Opportunities and Responsibilities
- Analyze health data to identify population-level trends and disparities.
- Support program design for chronic disease prevention, obesity management, and health literacy.
- Collaborate with strategic partners (e.g., BCBS MN, Allstate Benefits) to align initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Assist in creating policy briefs, grant proposals, and community engagement materials.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology, or related field.
- Experience with health data analysis and public health program design.
- Interest in social determinants of health and culturally competent care.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
